Outcome 1. SWOT Analysis

The challenge launched by UNESCO is the use and utilization of New Technologies of Information and Communication to provide students with the tools and knowledge necessary for the 21st century.
In this project we have created a questionnaire, in all the languages of the project. There is an online version of the Training Organisations in the web in:

English: http://www.dewolab.org/en/?option=com_rsform&formId=9
German: http://www.dewolab.org/de/?option=com_rsform&formId=9
Hungarian: http://www.dewolab.org/hu/?option=com_rsform&formId=9
Polish: http://www.dewolab.org/pl/?option=com_rsform&formId=9
Turkish: http://www.dewolab.org/tr/?option=com_rsform&formId=9
Spanish: http://www.dewolab.org/es/?option=com_rsform&formId=9

The questionnaire is aiming at providing a structured view on what medias are used in the partner organisations and related organisation. How they are taught as well as what the staff and the students are realizing and thinking about it. Are those standards and experiences very different from each other or are they comparable? Is the pedagogy trained hard-and software up to date and sufficient and are the circumstances and methods to teach the medias good enough?

It is a survey - not a through statistical analysis. This was not intended and would not be possible within the frame of such a small project. But it gives the partners useful hints about the environment in which they are actively teaching new technologies.
This allows a first overview of the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats involved in the area.
All over Europe there is a growing meaning of ETP knowledge for the labour market but, chances to attain this knowledge and to ensure access to a sustainable work life are different from country to country.

That's why the partners in DEWOLAB wanted to know the situation they have in their partner organisations. Surveys of their participants and staff should give an overview over the specific circumstances.

In summary we can state a very different starting position. What they do have in common is working with (young) people on their way to (re)integration in the labour market. The different starting positions are caused by different participants and also different training course objectives - likewise equipments and trainer- qualifications.
